I created this image to promote the use of alternate energy. In my case I created an image that represents how many more light bulbs you would use instead of one fluorescent light bulb. I cut outand combined pictures of light bulbs
using color range. I then added text
to a light bulb "R.I.P" Also put a sign
that means don't. Then I used paths
to trace the outside of that light
bulb. Added text. Rectangle select
tool was used to make and "=" sign.

This is what happens when you drink Coca Cola. To make this picture I reflected a picture of a female choking on delicious soda. I then listed the facts about how unhealthy Coca Cola is. I also individually applied a gradient to the two pictures. I created a custom brush of a drop of soda. I then individually applied it to the mouth of the struggling woman.

"The Hangover" Movie Poster
The assignment was to create movie poster for a movie I had watched, I did just that. I used the movie "The Hangover". I created this image by choosing a background and adding characters from this movie into the scene on different layers. For the characters I tweaked the brightness and contrast and in one layer I played with the curves. I used a mask for one character because it seemed easier for me to do so. I had to put him behind some stuff in the background. I removed a shelf from the background using the patch tool, clone stamp tool and the healing brush tool. I put the name of the movie and put a glow around it. I then took out the poster information from the actual poster. Now it looks like a real poster. :)

Visual Pun

I chose a picture of our previous president, George Bush. I made the pun "meat head" using his picture. I used a picture of meat for this pun. It was copied twice. On the first one I selected his eyes, nose, and mouth and created a mask. Few tweaks and it was done. I made it more transparent so that we can see his face. The second layer I chose the outside of his face, tweaked it and made it less transparent. That is how I got the desired effect of my visual pun.

My view of the doctor's office
I used several different images and layers to make this picture. I used some filters on the hands and the poster. On the hands I used hard light to make them look real and as if someone was really there. For the we come in peace poster I used the screen filter to remove black from the layer and it looks like its really on the wall.
